2 large chilled grapefruit
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 mint sprigs for garnish
Preheat your broiler. Cut each grapefruit in half and cut the bottom off each grapefruit so that they will sit upright and not roll. Use a serrated grapefruit knife to segment the grapefruit.
In a bowl mix the sugar, cinnamon and melted butter. Sprinkle the mixture on the grapefruit halves.
Place under the broiler about 4 inches from the element. Heat until the sugar is bubbly (1-2 minutes).
Serve immediately and garnish with mint.
